Fair Housing and Diversity – Lunch & Learn Session

Fair Housing Kicks Off Lunch & Learn

A series of free educational programs are being offered to PAR members this year as part of a collaboration of regional REALTOR® associations. The eventual goal is to offer the programs in a hybrid format, with live, in-person presenters (as available) as well as via Zoom.

The first one will be offered via Zoom from 12:30 -1:30 pm on Tuesday, March 28. Farrah Wilder and Karol Kochova will be speaking on Fair Housing and Diversity.

Wilder is the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for the California Association of REALTORS®. She will address Fair Housing developments and best business practices.

Kochova is a broker and certified life coach /motivational speaker who trains fellow realtors on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Good fair housing practices are essential for a compliant and professional real estate business. REALTORS®, as the first point of contact for many home buyers and sellers can make a huge difference in someone’s homeownership journey. With underserved communities facing additional homeownership challenges and racial homeownership gaps that remain stubbornly large; REALTORS® as stewards of homeownership, can make a huge difference.
